The article below shows an article from Popular Science in February 1959, and it’s clear from the photo that this is a pre-production MGA Judson.

Note the TF-like nose on the supercharger body, the much smaller compression chamber, and the tubular manifold.  The cylinder in front of the heater is a standard Marvel Oiler.

The photo on the right is a normal production MGA Judson.
